Comment: We really enjoyed and loved Christmas Island. Everyone was so friendly from our Agent to the Airline Crew and the Christmas Island team. We have travelled extensively and this is a truly remote, natural and unspoilt tropical haven. We want to keep it a secret but know it would be unfair as it is definitely a place one should visit in this lifetime! It's a refreshing change to the usual holiday haunts that are ruined by our modern, industrialised and commercial world! Our 2009 Christmas will be a very memorable one - as our photo shows! (us on the tropical golf course with the locals... crabs!)

Comment: We had a wonderful time at Christmas Island. Our booking process was efficient and our accommodation at the Sunset Superior Room was excellent, a large spotless room with breathtaking views. Our tours with Island Explorer were superb, with a delightful and enthusiastic guide. We saw the crab migration which is a once in a lifetime experience. Wow, what a wonderful trip! Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone!

Comment: A fantastic venue for a relaxing sea, sand and sun based holiday, away from the mass tourism of resorts. On many occasions we had the beach entirely to ourselves. Fantastic snorkelling and excellent accommodation made this a holiday of a lifetime.

Comment: Great! What a holiday! We had planned to go back to Thailand and are so glad we didn't. It was so laid back, no hustle and bustle of fighting the traffic or people. We had the beaches to ourselves and snorkelled everyday! We stayed at the Cocos Village Bungalows with John and Bronnie and they took us to see the sun set at The Spot. We went to Direction Island twice , took a tour over to Home Island where the school children showed us around then we fed the sharks off the Glass Bottom Boat- Awesome! A must see would be the Clam Farm!

Comment: We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary by doing something out of the ordinary and headed to the Islands. ''Theres nothing there'' said all our friends... we said ''perfect.. that's why we are going!'' We mixed it up and spent 3 days on Christmas and 4 on Cocos. Terrific flight with NJS and we landed in Christmas to a warm welcome by Angela, as arranged we picked up our trusty rusty 4WD - ''leave the keys in the ignition and fill the tank before you drop it back'' - Very trusting and after a day or two you understand why. Our accommodation at the VQ3 - WOW! We could watch the sunset and had a spa bath to boot! Waterfall walks through the rainforrest, millions of red crabs, blowholes and even with the rain, we had a ball! Cocos - another warm welcome from our hosts Sue and Ray from the Seaview. Great room, all you need, modern, short walk to the ocean which you could hear all day and night - very soothing. A car proved necessary although you can't go that far - it is a long walk from one end of the island to the other. We relaxed with lovely breakfasts at the Rainbow Cafe and were treated to a weather phenomonon, an awesome willy willy which was sucking water up into the heavens - Unbelievable. Highlight for me was a game of scroungers with the Cocos Gold Club, across the Airport Runway! Kind Regards to all, and thanks to Island Explorer!
